What are you doing?
on this holiday weekend?
One of Mom's brothers and his wife are coming in this weekend. I can't wait, his son is coming with his kids too! The little girl, Emily, is so nice to me! Her brothers are kind of rough but they are a little older now so maybe they will have calmed down....we haven't met the new baby girl yet, she's 6-months. Since mom groomed us we don't have as much hair for her to pull!! We love kids. Mom says, we don't get to go to the Zoo with them....that is just so not right!! Have a great weekend, whatever your doing!!!

Our Mommy finally got off of work for the holiday weekend. Yay! We hope that she will spend lots of time with us. We hope she takes us for some nice long walks and plays with our toys with us. Maybe she will even go out in the yard and help us find squirrels to chase. On Memorial day there may be a cookout with one of her sons. One of us might get to go with her. She takes turns taking one of us at a time, so it doesn't look like we are taking over other's houses. It is Olivia's time to go. Belle and Treasure are going to be really sad!!
It is good that some of your Mommy's family is going to be able to come in for a visit. Your Mommy has had a real treat getting to visit with her family. We are happy for her.
We know how it is when little ones come over. We love to see them, but sometimes they forget to play nice. Our Mommy babysits her little grandchildren and sometimes they might get a little rough. They are all learning to play nice with us; and, for the most part, do pretty good. They sometimes just forget that we are just wee little girls.
All three of us hope you and Jack and your Mommy have a great long weekend--it sounds like it will be great! Get some good fun time in.
Oh yea, we know that you and Jack look sooooo gooood with your new hair cuts and also that it is alot cooler.

Our company left this evening so us and Mom well have a day that's just ours! We had so much fun playing with the kids, they were all very nice to us!! The baby just smiled and giggled at us, she did like grabbing Jack and rubbing her face on him! He was very sweet to her so there were no scares to any of our people. We sure are tired, you don't get much nap time when there's so many to pet and play with you.
We know your Mom well have fun to! Jack and I don't like to be away from each other to much either. I don't like to think he gets to do something I don't!! I don't want you to tell him this but I miss him when he's not here!!
We are tired and going to bed...but we have to listen for the tornado sirens......again, so mom probably won't sleep to well! We hope this weather stuff calms down soon....hope all is well with you!!

We hope the sirens didn't go off and all of you got some sleep; I know you needed it with all of the company!
It was great that you had a good visit with your Mommy's family. We can just imagine that the little ones kept you busy. Our Mommy's little grandson who just turned 1 loves to rub us also. He will sometimes pull our hair a little bit. Mommy always makes him stop though. He really does love us. He and his sister have a Westie who's name is Oliver. Our mommy started getting Westies because she loves Oliver so much. Her two granddaughters play with us some, but they have their own dogs, so they don't have to play with us too much. You want to know a secret? We are kind of glad that they don't want to play with us much, because they sometimes forget that we are all small.
We hope you are having a good day with your Mommy today. We are all glad that we are all together today. We know what it is like when Mommy takes one of us with her. We really miss each other when we are not together. When the one that went comes home we all meet at the door and give each other love "pokes", and let them know they were missed. My Mommy says she takes one because she misses us so much. She thinks that since there are three of us left (2 of us Westies and Gracie our Golden sister) that we won't get too lonely. But sometimes it is hard to see one of us leave.
Tomorrow is a work day for our Mommy. We get soooo sad when she leaves for work. We always know she is leaving and pout while she is getting ready. She told us it will probably be a long day as she is the late person tomorrow. We hope you have a good day tomorrow and hope you had a wonderful day today.

We didn't get the storms....yeah!!! I hate them, Mom and Jack always try to reassure me though. Mom had to go back to work today, too. Then her doctor and her meeting at work tonight......so we are glad we had her all day yesterday! Oh, she's not sick, routine checkup every three months, no big deal.
We had so much fun yesterday! Lots of playtime, pets and tummy rubs! Mom chases us and growls and pretends shes a puppy too....we love that! She says, I wasn't supposed to share that, opps!!! Silly mom.
It's time to head for bed, Hope you have a great day tomorrow!!!

Yeah, no sirens! We had sirens going off during the night about a week ago. It is not fun! Usually we can't hear the rain too much until those crazy sirens go off. They serve a really good purpose though, otherwise, we would probably just ignore the storms.
Our Mommy has been having to go to the doctor a pretty good bit lately. It seems to happen every couple of years. Her meds just need to be readjusted and then it is all go.
What good fun you had with your Mommy. We love it when our Mommy plays like that with us. Sometimes she will even go outside and act like she is chasing squirrels with us. When she first did that, we looked at her like she lost something upstairs. Now we just get really excited.
We hope you all have a really great day. Our Mommy has been using that bath word lately. We hope it isn't today.
